Hello Sunshine! Counting Printable Pack

This new printable pack was quite a while in the making because I kept coming up with more activities I wanted to include.

But I think it’s finally well rounded now and ready to be released, and so here it is: Hello Sunshine! Counting Printable Pack! {All credit for the name goes to my friend Amanda from Artsy Momma 😉 }

I’m pretty excited about this pack because it has a nice variety of 10 different activities to learn and practice counting that are perfect for toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarteners. I really enjoyed making variations of most of the activities using numbers, dice, and tally marks to mix it up and to facilitate learning different ways of counting and representing numbers.

The activities primarily focus on numbers 1-10, but some include numbers up to 12, and one even has a variation for numbers 11-20. This makes it a great pack for many different skill levels, from kids who are struggling to those who want a bit more of a challenge.

What’s in the Printable PDF File?

This printable has 53 pages in all, including 40 activity pages and 10 instruction pages.

For your convenience and to minimize the amount of scrolling you need to do, you’ll find a convenient clickable table of contents on page 2 that takes you straight to the activity you’re interested in.

Instructions for preparing and using the activities are included in each section. No-prep printables {that only need to be printed and can be used right away} are marked in the table of contents.

I’ve included the following activities:

1. (10) play dough mats that include number outlines, counters, and ten frames (numbers 1-10).
2. (12) counting clip cards (numbers 1-12)
3. (2) I Spy games with answer keys (numbers 1-10 and numbers 11-20).
4. (30) 2-piece puzzles with different shapes (numbers 1-12, dice faces 1-6, and tally marks 1-12).
5. (7) line-up puzzles with 5, 6, and 10 pieces, respectively. They include numbers 1-5, numbers 1-10, tally marks 1-10, and dice faces 1-6.
6. (4) Roll and cover games (numbers 1-6, dice faces 1-6, tally marks 1-6, mixed 1-6 (numbers, dice faces, and tally marks), and two numbers 1-6).
7. Sun counters 1-10: 4 different ways of showing numbers 1-10 including tally marks and dice faces plus suns in different colors and matching numbers for counting, sorting, graphing, etc.
8. Grid game: Roll a die and cover the appropriate number of spaces in the grid.
9. Introduction to the number line: Count all suns of one color, draw a circle around the group, and draw a line to the matching number on the number line.
10. (6) number strips to fill in the missing number (1-10).
